Where DDJAY fits

Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana (DDJAY) is Haryana's 2016 policy for small, high-density plotted colonies in low and medium potential towns. Private developers build them under a licence; the policy caps plots at 150 m² and sets minimum roads and open space.

Town & Country Planning's licence list shows DDJAY colonies in several Rohtak sectors, including 22D, 25D, 36 and 37. Empire Valley adds one in Sector 36A.

What to compare between two projects

  • The licence number and who issued it
  • The HRERA registration and its promised completion date
  • The approved layout, and whether the ground matches it
  • Every charge, in writing: plot rate, PLC, EDC/IDC, club, maintenance
  • What is already built today — roads, boundary, water, power
  • Your own commute: work, school and family, at the hours you travel
